Think you're good at making things up on the spot? Release your inner Improv with improv teacher extraordinaire, Bruce Thompson. Learn the techniques to yield and commit to ideas, then instantly expand upon them with hilarious results. A must for drama students and extroverts who want to push the boundaries of on stage magic! The final week of the course will see the students showcasing their skills in a performance for family and friends.
Venue: MacKillop College, Senior Campus, Lochinvar Place, Port Macquarie

When: Term 4, Week 1. This is an 8 week Course, each Wednesday starting 11th October until Wednesday 29th November, 2023.
Time: 3.45pm - 5.15pm
Cost: $120 for 8 weeks ($15 p/w)
Bio: Bruce has been performing, producing and teaching in the performing arts for over 30 years. Specialising in improvisation Bruce ran Theatresports Gold Coast during the 90s and worked for a decade for Impro Australia in Sydney, performing and teaching improvisation to students ranging from primary school to retirees. He can't wait to get you on stage to release your inner improv! Anyone can improvise!
All Wednesday Nest Workshops are available for all students from Mackillop College, St Joseph’s Regional College and Newman Senior Technical College - regardless of what school they attend. ANY Student can attend ANY workshop at ANY location, regardless of what school they attend.
Parents are to organise transport for students from school, to venue and pick up.
