The Tacking Point Lighthouse is synonymous with Port Macquarie and for me is a symbol of home. I am a Textiles and Design teacher, and have chosen to weave part of my artwork. Weaving in traditional Indigenous Australian culture connected people. Different generations sat together to share cultural knowledge about why people weave. I hope my artwork brings people together as they reflect on our home town beauty of our surrounds.
