This is a drawing of the last Spartan Warrior standing against the huge Persian Army. The Persians are firing hundreds of arrows to kill him. I drew this to show the Spartan belief that they would rather die than surrender. There was a saying the Spartans had: "Come back with your shield or on it." Meaning, fight and win or die honorably.
