To me this is a metaphor for self love. Self love and esteem can be hard as a teenager and especially a teenage girl. You always think the next person is better than you but what you need to see is that everyone is amazing just the way they are and you are also just as amazing the way you are, and life would be so boring if everyone was the same, so be you!
