I made this artwork as a thank you to the wonderful firefighters who helped protect our amazing wildlife when the bushfires ravaged our country. It made me emotional to see our lovely koalas being pulled from the fires and watching their slow and painful recoveries in our local koala hospital. I am so grateful to the men and women who risked their own lives to rescue these endangered animals. Thank you.
