I got inspiration for my art work from my love of the night sky. I love looking at the stars and the moon and the dark sky. I used pink and purple oil pastels to create the background. I used tissue to smudge these colours together. Then I was able to paint the moon and the island over the top. I used special glitter paint to add the effect of stars in the sky.
