The horns are the epitome, the well known feature, of the Rhino. Their identity, protection, body part is stolen from them by poachers to fulfil their hunger for money. My artwork aims to spread awareness of this depressing, unmerciful culture of poaching, that kills and harms hundreds of rhinos, as well as other African animals, annually. I aim to evoke emotion and inspire thought through the representation of the Rhino’s despairing.
