“Geometry of Roses was inspired by my Mathematical background and my love of working with paper.
It is a transformation of simple straight edged 2D shapes of rectangles, squares and triangles into beautiful 3D roses.
Starting with a rectangle and using diagonal folds into squares and triangles, cutting a semi-circle and rolling, curling and gluing, the A4 piece of paper has “bloomed” into 4 different sized roses including the cut outs from which they began.
