Creativity has been exploding at the St Agnes’ Education, Creative Arts Nest, A4Art Prize. With more than 240 artworks submitted into the inaugural competition, the top 82 finalist artworks have been touring around St Agnes’ Education schools in their ‘pop-up’ A4Art Exhibition.
The conversations between the NEST Team, students and staff have been open, educational and engaging. The team is already bracing itself for next year’s competition with so much interest and enthusiasm displayed amongst budding artists.
The Creative Arts Nest A4Art Room proved to be a showstopper at Friday Nights Port Macquarie ArtWalk. With over 1800 tokens placed into jars the Port Macquarie community eagerly voted for their favourite artwork under the enormous blow up tent housing the A4Art exhibition. It was wonderful to see the greater community sharing in the creativity displayed amongst St Agnes’ Education students and staff.
Finally, the Creative Arts Nest tonight, will host the A4Art Awards Night at Newman Senior Technical College. 82 finalists and their guests have been invited to the event where the winners and highly commended artists will be announced for each of the categories.
