In my artwork, I aim to express the value of friendship. As we grow into adulthood, sleepovers between friends become less frequent. To me, sleepovers represent a pivotal aspect of adolescence that encompass some of our most fun memories- making silly videos, watching movies and the classic, ‘truth or dare’. Referencing the Spice Girls ‘Wannabe’- a timeless anthem of friendship, additionally aids in encapsulating the deep value I place on friendship in my life.
