Surfing is something that I love, and have been doing since I was six. I used acrylic paints and added some gold leaf throughout the wave which represents the sun shimmering on the water, which my Mum and I used to call mermaids. During lockdown, I loved to go for an early morning surf with my Dad, this allowed me to almost forget what was happening around the world. Not forever, but for a moment.
